This is a very useful, stable stepladder. It was well-packaged and was speedily delivered; and I considered it cheap. My wife finds it very handy to reach the things at the very top and back of her wardrobe, a location to which no-one has gained access in living memory, and which contains female items hidden away in the fifties. It has been a revelation, I can tell you.
Unfortunately, it’s always a bit of a come-down when you find the same product, or better (in this case, with four steps), on sale in the local Home Bargains, at half the price you paid on-line.
Nonetheless, I fully recommend this product to anyone capable of overcoming the shock of what the stock market traders apparently call “price discovery”.

Don’t believe the photos, 1 April 2011

As others have noted before, the step ladder is not as noted in the picture. There is no black rubber tread for extra grip. Ladder is otherwise fine and is a cheap price – however, I will be probably add some extra grip to the steps.
