Stool is notably higher than the standard ones on the market, allowing easy reach to the ‘difficult to get places’. Folds and unfolds easily supporting the weight of a 6ft adult. Stable in use and compact when folded away. Needed a little working out on first use, hence four out of five stars, otherwise, does the job it is intended for.

I purchased these steps so that I could reach the top shelf of the fitted cupboard in our bedroom without having to bring another, more cumbersome set of steps into the bedroom each time (and now that my knees are no longer too happy about using my dressing table stool!). They are ideal for the purpose. They are considerably more robust than I anticipated, and just the right height (I was concerned they might not be high enough as one thing that was not indicated was which of the dimension figures referred to the height). They slip easily under our bed and take probably a second a second to unfold and erect. Altogether a most satisfactory purchase.

I am very concerned that in use this stool collapsed. My husband is under 12 stone & the stool disintegrated. Luckily he wasn’t hurt. It could have been very serious. I actually feel the stool should be withdrawn for thorough inspection
